This Master’s degree is a natural progression on from the BSc (Hons) Sustainable Maritime Operations and provides you with the critical thinking and analysis skills required by any successful manager.
You will take an in-depth look into Marine Science & Engineering Management, Project and Data Management and Maritime Industry Practice, before choosing two areas of interest from our five optional modules. Whether you are passionate about Protecting the Marine Environment, interested in Offshore Renewable Energy or want to strengthen your knowledge in Maritime Strategy and Policy, there will be a module for you.
The degree ends with a 12-month independent research project that you can conduct in an area of your expertise, or an area of particular interest.

This course requires an equivalent to year two of a British degree in a relevant subject or Portfolio accreditation of Accredited Prior Learning (APL) and relevant work experience.
It may be necessary for you to undertake our short Sustainable Maritime Operations Access Course (SMO101) in order to meet the entry requirements for this programme.
